Another day, another record. On the heels of establishing the daily UK record, GTA 4 has now also set the first week record, easily bumping Wii Fit down to number two.

Grand Theft Auto 4 sold 926,000 units over five days for total sales of £39.9 million (US$78.3 million). These sales account for 61.2% of all software sold during the week.

The Xbox 360 version with just over half a million units sold continues to account for about 55% of the game’s sales, compared with 45% for the PS3.
